Our Preschoolers come to Northside Montessori School from a variety of previous childcare experiences such as in-home daycare, childcare centers, stay-at-home parents or within our own toddler program. No matter their previous experiences, our teachers nurture the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development of your child.
We understand each preschooler is unique and are at different developmental stages. Our goal is to observe their interests and create individualized lesson plans for them. There are no limits to the amount of knowledge a child may obtain during these formative years. The environment builds a strong academic and social foundation for later learning.
Our preschool students work every day to build independence, patience, social skills, concentration, writing or pre-writing skills. At the end of their preschool years, our children have mastered what they like to do and achieved what they need to know to successfully progress to Kindergarten.
"The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn."
~ Dr. Maria Montessori
